KARA’s Heo Young-ji Makes First Public Appearance After Denying Daesung Dating Rumors

Girl group KARA’s Heo Young-ji has made her first public appearance following the recent dating rumor incident with BIGBANG’s Daesung.

On March 23, KARA member Park Gyu-ri took to social media to share a photo of the group’s complete lineup, showcasing their reunion.

The image features all five members – Park Gyu-ri, Han Seung-yeon, Nicole, Kang Ji-young, and Heo Young-ji – posing together. The group appears to have gathered to support Park Gyu-ri’s current role in the musical “Don’t Touch.”

Notably, Heo Young-ji, who was recently at the center of dating rumors, caught attention with her radiant appearance. Sporting a chic bob haircut and dressed in a casual black shirt and slacks, she beamed at the camera with a bright smile.

The reunion comes just days after Heo Young-ji was spotted sitting close to Daesung at a MAMAMOO concert on March 22, sparking relationship speculation.

The incident also reignited interest in a previous mention of a potential romance between Daesung and Heo Young-ji on Daesung’s YouTube channel “Jipdaesung” last October. In that episode, Daesung revealed that his BIGBANG bandmate Taeyang had playfully suggested, “You and Heo Young-ji look good together, why don’t you give it a shot?”

In response to the dating rumors, Daesung’s agency, R&D Company, quickly issued a statement, asserting, “They are just friends and not in a romantic relationship.”

Heo Young-ji has been an active member of KARA since joining the group for their 2014 album “Day & Night.” She continues to pursue a diverse career in music, acting, and variety shows.
