South Korean national soccer team goalkeeper Kim Seung-kyu finally embraced his newborn daughter after returning from the 2026 North and Central American World Cup.

Model Kim Jin-kyung shared a heartwarming photo on her social media on June 30, accompanied only by foot and heart emojis.

The image captures a man tenderly holding a newborn baby. While his face isn’t visible, the sun-bronzed arms suggest it’s her husband, Kim Seung-kyu. The gentle way he cradles the infant speaks volumes about his affection.

Kim Seung-kyu had missed the birth of his daughter due to his commitments with the national team at the ‘2026 FIFA North and Central American World Cup’ in Mexico. As a result, Kim Jin-kyung welcomed their first child alone on June 4.

Following the tournament’s conclusion, Kim Seung-kyu returned to South Korea through Incheon International Airport alongside some of his teammates.
