Choi Soo-jong Reveals Photos of Grown Children Who Are Spitting Images of Parents

Actor Choi Soo-jong made waves by sharing photos of his adult son and daughter, while also revealing his unique parenting approach.

On the August 28th episode of KBS 1TV's "Morning Yard" segment "Famous Guests," Choi Soo-jong appeared as a guest, offering viewers a glimpse into his family life.

The broadcast featured throwback footage of Choi and his wife, Ha Hee-ra, alongside recent photos of their son, Choi Min-seo (born 1999), and daughter, Choi Yoon-seo (born 2000). The cast was visibly impressed by the children's striking resemblance to their parents. When anchor Jeong Ji-in remarked on how much the daughter looked like Ha Hee-ra, Choi quipped, "They say she has my eyes too."

Choi also shared his unconventional parenting philosophy, which includes using formal language with his adult children. He revealed that at mealtimes, he addresses his daughter as "Ms. Choi Yoon-seo," explaining, "I've always aimed to treat my children as independent individuals." This practice, he said, originated from feelings of guilt over his busy schedule during the filming of "Taejo Wang Geon," and has since become a family tradition.

In a heartwarming anecdote about his son, Choi recounted asking him about a female friend. When he inquired if his son was treating her well, the young man replied, "As well as you do, Dad," eliciting laughter from everyone present.

Choi Soo-jong and Ha Hee-ra tied the knot in 1993.
