CORTIS has cemented its global influence by surpassing 15 million Instagram followers, Variety has learned.
The quintet, consisting of Martin, James, Juhun, Seonghyeon, and Gunho, hit this impressive milestone on August 5th, just a year after their social media debut last August.
CORTIS stands alone among K-pop groups launched in the past five years to achieve this feat. As of August 8th, they've also amassed a staggering 15.82 million TikTok followers and 6.24 million YouTube subscribers, leading the pack among recently debuted K-pop boy bands.
Their follower count skyrocketed following their electrifying performance at Lollapalooza Chicago on August 1st. The enthusiastic response from the 50,000-strong crowd, coupled with viral performance clips, sparked a significant influx of new followers across social media.
Their musical success continues to soar. "REDRED," the title track from their second mini-album, secured the 189th spot on Spotify's latest "Weekly Top Songs Global" chart, marking its 15th consecutive week. It's also maintained its reign at #1 on the "Weekly Top Songs Korea" chart for an impressive 15-week streak.
On Billboard's latest charts (dated August 8), the track held strong at #109 on the "Global 200" and #63 on the "Global (Excluding U.S.)" chart, extending its chart presence to 14 weeks.
CORTIS is currently thrilling fans on their North American tour, "2026 CORTIS TOUR 'PUT YOUR PHONE DOWN' IN NORTH AMERICA."
The group will continue to rock stages in six North American cities, including Atlanta and Los Angeles, until August 16th. Their packed schedule then takes them to Seoul and Kanagawa, Japan, followed by appearances at the "Rock in Japan Festival 2026" and the "Formula One Singapore Grand Prix."
