VERIVERY's Kangmin Shines in Variety Show Appearances

VERIVERY member Kangmin is making waves in the entertainment industry with his versatile appearances as both a guest and special MC on various Korean variety shows.

On the latest episode of KBS2's "The Men Who Cook Season 2," which aired on the 12th, Kangmin charmed viewers as a special guest. Introduced as the "visual genius" of the K-pop world, he drew laughs when he candidly admitted to becoming aware of his good looks in middle school.

During his stint on the show, Kangmin's engaging personality shone through as he reacted enthusiastically to the cast's stories. A highlight came when he expressed keen interest in songwriting after observing Ji Sang-ryeol's lyric-writing process. He also brought positive energy to the set by cheering on contestants attempting a 10km run.

This isn't Kangmin's first rodeo in the variety show circuit. Last May, he served as a special MC on KBS2's "Boss's Ears Are Donkey Ears." In a memorable moment, when asked to judge the MCs' attempts at recreating his signature glove-biting pose from his solo debut "Free Falling," Kangmin quipped, "Do I really have to choose?" eliciting laughter from the audience.

The VERIVERY star has also been honing his hosting skills. He took on the role of special MC for MBC's popular music show "Show! Music Core" last December. Additionally, Kangmin co-hosted Mnet Plus's "PLANET C: HOME RACE" alongside his bandmate Dongheon, demonstrating his growing prowess as an MC.

While making strides in variety television, Kangmin hasn't neglected his musical career. VERIVERY recently dropped their eighth mini-album "CONFETTI" on the 7th. Fans can catch Kangmin performing the group's latest title track "Don't Panic!" on various music shows and stages as part of their comeback promotions.
