Is C-Section the Better Choice? Lee Min-jung’s Honest Q&A on Childbirth
I was in so much pain I could have begged for my life... Opting for a C-section for my second child was a game-changer

Actress Lee Min-jung got real about her C-section experience, spilling the tea on the pain she endured during childbirth.
On the 22nd, Lee's YouTube channel 'Lee Min-jung MJ' dropped a video titled 'Natural Birth? C-section? Pregnancy in Your 40s? Lee Min-jung's No-Filter Pregnancy and Childbirth Q&A.' In the video, Lee dished out answers to burning questions about pregnancy and childbirth from her subscribers.
Lee kicked things off by saying, "I get bombarded with questions about pregnancy and childbirth, so today I'm here to answer all the Q&As you've posted on the board."

When a fan asked which hurts less - C-section or natural birth - Lee spilled the beans on her own birthing journey. "Just because you want a natural birth doesn't mean it's always possible," she explained, recounting her first delivery drama.
"My due date was approaching, but my amniotic fluid was low, the baby wasn't descending, and my cervix wasn't dilating," she shared. "I had to make a quick decision between a C-section or induced labor within days. With my amniotic fluid down to 60%, there was no time to waste. After grilling my doctor, I went for the C-section."
Right after the surgery, Lee felt surprisingly good. "Everyone warned me that C-section recovery is a slow burn, but I felt fine at first," she admitted. "I was even texting people like, 'Just had a C-section, no biggie!'"
But once the pain meds wore off, it was a whole different story. "The nurse warned me, 'You might feel a bit sore when the epidural wears off,'" Lee recalled. "A few hours later, it felt like someone had poured acid on my stomach. The pain was so intense, like I was on fire. I was frantically hitting the call button, literally begging for my life."
This rollercoaster ride left her anxious about having another C-section for her second child. But Lee's second time around was a totally different experience, thanks to some cutting-edge pain management techniques.
"Medical science is mind-blowing these days," she gushed. "Opting for another C-section was the best decision ever. The faint scar from my first delivery? Gone after the second. And the pain? Barely felt a thing. I could literally feel the wonders of modern medicine in my body. So, trust me, there's absolutely no need to stress about C-sections."
