Shin Min-a Set to Dazzle in 'The Remarried Empress'

Actress Shin Min-a is making her long-awaited return to tvN's hit variety show 'You Quiz on the Block' after a six-year hiatus.

The show's official social media teased fans on the 21st with a captivating post: "The lovely Shin Min-a graces us with her presence. What's her take on love? Stay tuned!" Two stunning stills accompanied the announcement, showcasing Shin Min-a in a chic ensemble - a white blouse adorned with ribbon details paired with sleek black slacks. The images capture her in an engaging conversation with host Yoo Jae-suk, her radiant charm on full display.

This marks Shin Min-a's first appearance on 'You Quiz' since her September 2020 visit to promote her film 'Diva.' It's also her debut on a TV variety show since tying the knot with actor Kim Woo-bin last December, sparking anticipation for candid insights into her newlywed life and daily routines.

Her guest spot is part of the promotional campaign for the upcoming Disney+ original series 'The Remarried Empress,' set to premiere on November 4. This romantic fantasy epic follows Empress Nabi (Shin Min-a) of the Dongdae Empire, who, upon receiving divorce papers from Emperor Sobiesu (Ju Ji-hoon) - who has fallen for a runaway slave named Rasta (Lee Se-young) - counters by demanding approval to remarry Prince Heinri (Lee Jong-suk) of the West Wang Kingdom.

Since her modeling debut in 1998, Shin Min-a has built an impressive and diverse portfolio. Her standout performances in dramas like 'My Girlfriend is a Gumiho,' 'Tomorrow with You,' 'Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha,' and 'Our Blues,' along with films such as 'A Bittersweet Life,' 'Kitchen,' and 'Diva,' have showcased her versatility across genres. Renowned for her nuanced emotional portrayals and ability to fully inhabit her characters, fans are eagerly anticipating her latest transformation in 'The Remarried Empress.'
