Baekhyun Tops Ktown4u Weekly Chart Ahead of Comeback

(MHN Reporter Lee Yunbi) EXO's Baekhyun has secured the top spot on the Ktown4u weekly chart for consecutive weeks.
The global fandom-based entertainment platform Ktown4u recently released its weekly album sales chart, covering the period from May 5 to 11.
According to the data, Baekhyun's 5th mini-album Essence of Reverie Photobook Random Version sold 24,398 copies, claiming first place. Meanwhile, the Kiwi Version of the same album recorded 22,696 sales, earning it the second spot and adding further significance to the achievement.

Baekhyun is set to make his comeback on May 19 with his 5th mini-album Essence of Reverie, approximately eight months after his previous release, Hello, World, which came out last year.
Essence of Reverie aims to depict Baekhyun standing on the boundary between reality and dreams through two distinct concepts. The Essence version showcases Baekhyun's raw and intense persona, while the Reverie version symbolizes his aspirations as an artist, presenting two contrasting charms.
The tracklist features the title track Elevator, expected to highlight Baekhyun's signature emotional vocal style. In addition to the title track, the album includes six other songs: Chocolate—which will be pre-released on May 15—Lemonade, Love Comes Back, No Problem, Black Dreams, and Late Night Calls.

Notably, Baekhyun will kick off his first solo world tour since his debut, beginning in June alongside the release of Essence of Reverie.
The album will be officially available on major online music platforms starting May 19 at 6 PM. His Seoul concert's pre-sale will begin on May 8 at 8 PM, with general sales opening on May 12 at 7 PM.
