(MHN Reporter Lee Yun-bi) NCT DREAM has taken the top spot on the Ktown4u weekly album chart, showing strong momentum following the release of their latest EP.

According to global fandom-based entertainment platform Ktown4u, the group’s sixth mini album Beat It Up sold 10,725 copies between December 8 and 14, earning it the No. 1 position on the weekly chart.

Released on November 17, Beat It Up features six tracks including the title song of the same name. While their fifth studio album Go Back To The Future, released in July, reflected on NCT DREAM’s brightest moments under the theme of “the direction of time,” this new mini album shifts focus to “the speed of time.” It tells the story of the seven members running toward their dreams at their own unique pace since childhood.

The title track “Beat It Up” is a high-energy hip-hop number characterized by bold kicks and a heavy bass line. Its addictive rhythm is built on an energetic beat, signature vocal riffs, and witty transitions. The track opens with a whisper-like intro that quickly escalates into tight rap verses, amplifying both tension and speed.

Lyrically, the song captures NCT DREAM’s signature confidence and energy, expressing a fearless determination to break free from societal limits and forge their own path on a timeline that’s uniquely theirs.

Beat It Up was officially released on major music platforms at 6 p.m. KST on November 17.
